The JK10.2 Grade of carbide buttons are mainly used in the application of quarrying, excavating, water well drilling, and even applied for oil & gas industry, such as Tricone Bits, percussion Bits, etc. All of our products are made of 100% virgin materials - powder of tungsten carbide and cobalt. The average grain size is between 1.6 to 2.0 um, with hardness ranging from 89.5 to 90.5 HRA.
The bullet shape carbide buttons are common type in drilling domain, it supplies good compressive strength, and relatively high impact strength. Generally, two types are used ordinarily. The ball-shaped ones are higher in compressive strength and wear resistance properties, are mostly used in hard rocks. The parabolic shaped ones have high excavation efficiency, are usually used in medium hard conditions. The main physical properties are as follows:
